Sights And Sounds

Sights and Sounds
by: Shirley Munafo

Early this morning as I stood on the deck
In spite of the chilling cold
I listened to the song birds singing
Some so timid, some so bold
I saw a Red bird, a Blue bird
As I stood there in awe
So thankful indeed for what I heard and saw
Cost no money or travel just a willingness to see
The sights and sounds of nature performing for me
I returned inside feeling refreshed and renewed
I so wanted to share this with someone.....Dear reader, It's you.
Man Oh Man. I am having trouble on this cottin pickin Blog site. I am playing around and nothing is working for me. What in tar nation am I doing wrong. I want to add color to my TITLE. Well! No colors show up, just blank little white boxes. I had better take a break before I say something I will regret and make a complete fool of myself. It is hard for me to admit this BLOGGING is for those that know what they're doing.

Who Knows

Who knows why I created this BLOG? I am not sure I know myself. That is pretty much the way I am, though. Some folks say they can't figure me out. But that's OK, I don't know about me either.
I suppose I am talking to myself right now and I used to hear that wasn't a good sign. Oh, well.
At my age, 76 come June 11, I don't really worry about much of anything anymore. Didn't do any good back in the days when I did worry so I decided to give it up for good. Free! at last.

Well, now, that wasn't too hard. At least I got my self started doing what all those young groovy, hip folks are doing, BLOGGING!

I can't wait till I read someone elses blogs. I hope I find somebody's blogs who like poetry like I always have.
